Black Population Numbers and Issues

The Black population percentages in the cities of San Francisco, CA (5.4%) and Los Angeles, CA (9.0%) in addition to the state of California (6.5%) are significantly lower than the Unites States (13.4%) average.  Inglewood, CA is truly one of the last metro areas on the West Coast with a significant Black population at 42.9%.

The Racial Categories of the US Census
According to the US Census, in 2016 California had one of the lowest percentages of “Black or African American alone” racial category persons in the country despite having one of the highest “White alone” race category percentages in the country . California’s “Black or African American alone” racial category percentage was estimated at 6.5% in 2016 (v2016) which is approximately 2,551,251 people out of 39,250,017 (v2016).
In 2010 the US Census officially reported the “Black or African American alone” race category consisted of 6.2% of California’s population. In 2010 California reported a total population of 37,253,956. At 6.2% of the total population “Black or African American alone” racial persons comprise of approximately 2,309,745 persons. The national percentage for “Black or African American alone” was approximately 12-13%.
So while California may have the second highest raw number of “Black or African American alone “ racial persons in the country due to its huge size, California’s diversity percentage with regards to “Black or African American alone“ racial category persons is disturbingly low. These 6.2% and 6.5% ratios place California behind Texas (11.8% [2010], 12.6% [v2016]), North Carolina (21.5% [2010], 22.2% [v2016]) and Mississippi (37.0% [2010], 37.7% [v2016]) . The most populous state has one of the smallest percentages of “Black or African American alone” racial category populations in the country. Compared to the “White alone” racial category population at an estimated 72.9% (v2016), the “Black or African American alone” population is almost non-existent.
However, in California, the “White alone” racial category is being artificially inflated with the inclusion of “Hispanic/Latino” and MENA ethnic numbers. The combined racial and ethnic category of “white alone, not-Hispanic or Latino” was reported at only 40.1% in the official 2010 census. The total percentage for “white alone” racial category including the Hispanic ethnicity was 57.6% in the official 2010 census.
In California the “White alone” racial category population increased 15.3% from 57.6% (2010) to 72.9% (v2016 estimates) due to a very expansive racial category definition which includes numerous ethnicities from multiple continents (a definition which excludes American Blacks on its face and in effect).
The California v2016 estimates show an even greater artificial inflation, from 38% (“white alone, not-Hispanic or Latino” racial/ethnicity category) to a supermajority of up to 72% (“white alone” racial category including the Hispanic ethnicity). However, the reported 2010 census numbers show only a 17.5% increase in percentage points in the “white alone” race category with the inclusion of the Hispanic/Latino ethnicity.
Either way, whites have found a way to seem a much larger population than they are and to destroy racial diversity- if everyone besides Blacks and Asians is white race with different ethnicities, then a “super-white” state is created with very little racial diversity. Asians and Blacks combined represent only approximately 20% of California’s entire population of 40 million persons. The other 80% of California’s population consists of “white alone” racial category of individuals who are not all white alone, which includes Hispanic and Non-Hispanic, Middle Eastern, North African, and Arab ethnicities.
Blacks need to know how low our population really is in California and to know that there is still a very sizable Black population in the South. This understanding is especially important during the election cycles as Black votes are being manipulated with racial issues, the Blacks of this nation are being lied to about the racial categories by both political parties and numerous political groups- especially the Democrats, and the Black urban, core vote is being diluted by relocation.

As I have earlier posted, the Black urban vote is being diluted by relocation. This relocation is championed by the NAWS (New American White Supremacy) movement (link). Unlike gerrymandering, this vote dilution approach cannot be stopped in court because there is no government action where millions of “whites”, gays and others who are not Government actions displace Black communities through police brutality and extreme rent and housing increases. Civil Rights actions under the Constitution require Government action in order for the case to proceed. Private party action is generally not actionable. So, the real result is mass dilution of the Black vote without any government action, which legally insulates and prevents legal action to stop it. That’s why it has spread from Washington D.C. to New York, Boston, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles and now Inglewood and the surrounding Black neighborhoods. This approach is far more effective and insidious than gerrymandering. It is designed to circumvent the Civil Rights laws by creating a situation which will not trigger legal action. It is the perfect example of NAWS action- post civil rights era circumvention of Civil Rights laws by applying secret racism, which appears as a facially racial neutral approach with “in-effect” results of segregation and Black voter dilution. This approach also guarantees a lessening of the Black votes’ effect on local county politics because the Black vote is being spread between at least 3 different counties in Southern California. Blacks Deserve to Be Told the Truth
For the past 20 years, all types of groups – including those who profess to fight for civil rights and the Democratic party– have been misinforming and manipulating the Black vote by omitting that everyone except for Blacks and Asians have been assimilated into the “white-alone” racial category as white-racial ethnicities. Immigration and civil rights policies have been used as means to misinform us. Apparently the Black immigrant and American experience is still not worthy of white assimilation.
I have no desire to be white but for Blacks to still be excluded from greater American assimilation is unconscionable. The Black immigrant and Black AMERICAN experience is probably older than the “new white-alone” ethnicities’ experiences yet has been pushed to the back, just like pre-Civil rights days, of the assimilation line. Indeed the Black American experience is older than most white racial persons’ experience in this country.
The omission shows extreme disrespect for Blacks and Black achievement and sacrifice in this country. It disrespects our culture and values, which is based off of general white mid-nineteenth century WASP American values, our shared religion with most white Americans, our shared language of English, and our centuries of White assimilation. It also completely ignores the genetic racial white diversity within the American Black population. Above all, it disrespects Black American women. It completely ratifies the ideal that the rapes and pain from slavery which created the American Black population will also result in Black racial categorization throughout the generations. Our children will always be considered socially and politically unlike everyone else no matter color, culture, religion, mannerisms, i.e, Black, while White woman can produce a “mixed-raced” child and a Hispanic and North African/Middle Eastern woman will have a white child no matter how Black that person is or their actual slave history in Latin America. It also completely ignores the Black blood in the new white ethnicities. For us, the white blood in us doesn’t count. Why? Because its United States slave blood- and that is ridiculous.
Everyone uses the Black civil rights laws but lies to us while using them. Blacks were not asked about the expansion of the White-alone category. WE were never consulted. To this day Blacks are not engaged as a community in the race law/immigration discussions with honesty by other persons. It is clear signal that the race laws are only for debate amongst “whites” – even those that aren’t white. This is racism and a complete validation of the slave laws regarding race, rape and the prohibition against Black Americans having a say in this Country’s racial laws.
Currently the immigration debate is not about racial diversity. We are told as people of color that other people of color are being discriminated against, and that because we are all people of color, I should as a Black base my entire vote and political feelings around their mistreatment as fellow people of color. I am told that I should enraged by this racial discrimination. The truth is these are not people of color- they are “whites-alone”. By definition and self-selection, they disavow being both Black and indigenous. This omission results in Black voter manipulation and misunderstanding of the racial issues. What we are really looking at is inter-white racial fighting between the white ethnicities.
Black Americans deserve to be told the truth and to be included as equals in the race discussion regarding racial categorizations in this country. We are not a people who should only respond to race categories and immigration policy but are a group who earned the right to be a part of the discussion and have a say, yeah or nay, as to the expansions of the race categories in this Country- especially as to what is white and black. The current laws again enshrine another horrible ideal of the “past” – the ideal that Blacks do not have a place or voice in these types of decisions but can be hurt by racial categorizations/immigration decisions. It also enshrines the ideal that immigration supports White racial diversity and numbers but not Black racial diversity or numbers (the use of immigration as a sword against certain communities is a historical fact, particularly against the Native American and Black American populations.)

The Race Laws Are Facially Discriminatory Because Blacks are Still Defined by the One-Drop Rule where One Drop of Black Blood Regardless of the Amount of White Blood creates a “Black-alone” on the Census, While The New Non “Whites” Are Defined in the Census by a One Drop Rule Where One Drop of White Blood Regardless of the Amount of Black or Indigenous Blood Creates a “White-Alone”.

The Upcoming Census creates unique needs for the Black population which is in flux in the largest cities of this country.
