-The Black communities have been underserved and underdeveloped. One of the reasons often stated by developers and corporations is that our communities are not able to support such development, (i.e., we are too poor). However we are not too poor for corporations to market sugar drinks, alcohol, sports products/games and clothing/shoes to. With regards to the prior and current owners, many were/are the same people building in the Los Angeles market, and made their fortunes in the Los Angeles real estate market. The owners are corporations and executives.
-Hopefully the Black community will come together and boycott as a message that we are a community of consumers that deserves to be respected and our communities developed without a major demographic change. It is a message that our communities offer more than athletes and opportunities for exploitation.
-If the Chinese want to prevent such exploitation, charge the NBA so much money. It is the Black players and consumers they are offering to the Chinese public to make them want to watch and play the game. Yet we are exploited. The Chinese people are going to make them richer, while Blacks provide the product. The NBA owners already created contracts on such expectations. It is only fair that these owners share and pay. If they are not made to pay at least 1 billion dollars to show the games and advertise, then they will continue to make billions on billions of dollars while exploiting not only American Black communities but also the Chinese consumer and government.

(I originally wrote this post last year and posted a version on my Googleplus page. With the Clippers possibly building another stadium in Inglewood, it is even more relevant. Although I originally wrote this blog about the NBA, the same argument can be made about the NFL.)
